13 Ugly Men ~ 13th Annual White Party
Starting Right, Now has been named as the charity beneficiary of the "2011 White Party" put on by "13 Ugly Men" to be thrown Poolside at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, April 9th from 7pm-Midnight.

Here's your chance to get tickets for these wonderful events. On September 16,2010 there are two opportunities to help... a Luncheon, and a VIP Cocktail Reception with Silent Auction and Art Sale featuring local artists.
The Luncheon will be held at The Ritz Ybor on 7th Avenue in Ybor City. Tickets are $70/person, and include lunch from the world-famous Columbia Restaurant, and a special gift. -UPDATE-LUNCHEON EVENT IS SOLD OUT - This is all in addition to the main event which is an inspirational talk by Sean and Collins Tuohy (father and sister from the movie, The Blind Side) as they speak on "lending a hand" and present their new book In a Heartbeat.
JUST A FEW TICKETS LEFT to the VIP event to meet and greet Sean and Collins later the same evening at Saks 5th Avenue at WestShore Plaza. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. You'll also enjoy a silent auction and art sale featuring local artists.

Call for Entries of "Lend A Hand" Artwork
Starting Right, Now is pleased to announce a call for entries to artists working in both 2D and 3D media for a juried exhibition to be held at the organization’s “Lend a Hand” awareness event on Thursday, September 16, 2010. Donated artwork selected, will be exhibited and offered for sale at the organization’s annual awareness event. Proceeds will support Starting Right, Now’s programs. A portion of the proceeds from artwork sold at the event will be donated to the art departments of the school of the students who are recognized for Best in Show and Awards of Excellence. The awards will be presented to the winners at the Starting Right, Now event. Download Info and Entry Submission Form here.
